The much awaited Filmfare awards for 2007 have been announced. The awards were given away in a star studded grand gala function at Yashraj Studio, Mumbai on February 24th.Darsheel Safary, the boy who has won many hearts in Tare Zameen Par has got the ‘Critics' Award for Best Actor.

One of the India's well known Tamil Writer Sujatha passed away on Feb 27th in Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Due to a heart attack at the age of 72.
He is a classmate of President Abdul Kalam in St Joseph's College.Trichy. He is Popular for science fiction writing.He is a favorable writer for Maniratnam and Shankar in their films.
His next big venture was Rajini's Robot.Directed By Shankar.
